This game rocks. The color scheme is pleasant to look at (essential for player to stay focus on a SHUMP). And the animation and background image change together with the visual effect just create an engaging and exciting atmosphere when the game becomes more intense. Very enjoyable from start to end.

    Very nice work indeed.

I believe there is a problem with DS4 support. It’s on my list of things to do.

You’ve certainly got something great here. A very pleasing visual style with great animations, three of game modes and difficulties which is essential for a sh’mup these days since most people don’t seem to be interested any more, and variety is the way to go to attract an audience, along with the leader boards which I’m currently smashing though (9th in time attack on normal) but I think with more players will come harder scores to beat, and I assume this is quite a new game. My only issue is that there’s so much stuff I can’t concentrate, but I know that’s sort of what makes a bullet hell game. Overall, this is an amazing game you could easily charge something for (but please don’t go F2P). I’ll be sure to check out the rest of your catalogue

Very good game! Keep on making great small arcade games like this! Just wish there was a way to add a player with you locally like my brother or online if you want.

After having spent a lot more time with the game, I still love it but I have a few gripes. The sound effects have to be turned WAY down, like, 10% because they get very irritating, especially when you’ve finished a game. Seriously, put on a pair of headphones and play through time attack on hard. Eventually things will get pretty hectic and then the game ends and whilst there’s no music, all you can hear are the sound effects and they even persist if you then go to look at the leader board. You could definitely fix that part by muting the SFX after you finish a game and playing the normal music instead. Then there are the enemies. The green following ships and the meteors can place you in an inescapable position. You shouldn’t place the blue millipede enemies with the green and purple ships because both can trap you in a small area and the nature of the millipede enemies makes this a very difficult situation to come out of alive if you’re not constantly supplied with power ups. My last issue is with the leader boards themselves as when I look on mine, it regularly says — despite the fact I have a high place in every leader board (my online name is crazygirl btw, just so you know I’ve spent a fair bit of time with the game). Trials has never been anything but blank despite me getting on the board day 1 and I believe I’m now 13th. The ‘shout out’ box is also broken because at first it always acknowledged me, then it did it when it felt like it and it still does, only much less frequently. I’m not looking for it to constantly say my name, I just feel it should either do it constantly or every other time you go up or something like that. The feature might make more sense when the leader boards are more competitive, but for now it’s fundamentally flawed and functionally impaired. With all this being said, I still enjoy the game and hope it gets the attention it deserves but it’s because I enjoy it that I would love to see this issues fixed. I really hope you can get at least some of these sorted.

Also, I need a job. I don’t know much coding but I’d love to learn and I think I could help with coming up with a concept for your next game as well as testing for things like what I’ve covered here. If there’s any position open that I can do online then I’d like the opportunity to apply and hope you will consider me. Thank you, Sammi

Thanks for the feedback Sammi. All noted.

The ‘shout out’ box works as intended. It’s global so what you see is what everyone else sees. With many games being played at once, it can’t comment on every score recorded as it would change too frequently. However, important changes to the leaderboards (scores near the top) are always mentioned.

Binary Zoo is just me. I do everything so there are no other jobs to fill 🙂

I’m occasionally looking for playtesters though, so if you’re active on our forum at the time I may ask for your input then.

I did get that impression after reading the ‘about’ page and noticing that everything is in first person. That’s very admirable 🙂 As for the box, when I got the number 2 score I immediately went there only to find nothing, same with every other time I get a high score over 50th. If you look on the leader board you’ll see that happens a lot. I’m not really one for being active on forums and such but if you mean you post builds every now and again then I’ll try and keep an eye out and give you some feedback. You have my respect.

If I open the game ‘Windows Installer’ pops up and both programs are frozen, this game looked like a lot of fun ;(

      Hi Maxim,
The game doesn’t try to install anything so it sounds like either a Steam issue, or possibly one of your drivers is trying to update.

Is everything updated? What are your macine specs?

The game “ROCKS”, who would have thought you could combine, PacMan, Galaga, Phoenix, Space Invaders, Centipede, and more into a single Shooter.. One game that brings back all my 80’s arcade memories.. I love it.. TAKE MY MONEY Please this deserves it..

Yeah, my moniker is Hal Over9000 (get it), but I also was born in ’67. I have my original PONG, which needs work as well as C batteries.

Weekend bedsurfing, I clicked on the 1982 link. Holy sh*t. I remember “GORF.” And here it is again. I sat straight up in bed and got a jolt of arcade goodness that I have felt very, very few times since EXACTLY the fall of 1982.

THANK YOU. gg A++ btr than double espresso, on par with Titan Attacks, like waiting for Daisy Duke to finally get screentime

HINT: update your games occasionally on Steam, like a 500KB file. Popping up in Downloads is free advertising.

Thanks. I played GORF to death on my VIC20.

There are still so many great games from back then to take inspiration from. Maybe 1982 needs a sequel 🙂
