I downloaded at played Echoes fine at the office yesterday, but today when I downloaded and ran it here at home, it seems to be malfunctioning.

The game loads normally, though it seems a little sluggish, but I can't fire at all and nothing comes on-screen in the normal game.  I can see the asteroid in crack, but cannot fire there, either.  Autofire on or off makes no difference.

I was running Vista Ultimate x64 (SP1) there, and XP Professional x64 (SP2) here, and I'm going to update drivers in hope of fixing the issue.

I did that, both archives.

After installing the latest Catalyst and DX update, everything is working fine.

Hi Night.

Interesting that those updates appeared to fix the problem as I wouldn't have thought they would have helped.

Oh well, glad you got it sorted. Smiley

This is one of the few times I've ever heard of that updating drivers and/or DX has worked.
