I was getting my copy of C++ 2008, where in the bottom of the page there is a montage of games, where they show what can be made with the software!

If you look in the top lefty of that montage, its non other Duo !!!  heres the link...

Yeah it's because they now distribute Dark SDK for C++ game making which is made by The Game Makers who obviously didn't have anything decent written in Dark SDK to show off, so they put together some shots of stuff made in DB/DBPro.  I'm sure it was in the promo video too.

I noticed this is the latest newsletter too.  Scrolly down a bit Smiley

I'm obviously pleased in a way that it still gets a mention, but that's as much to do with a complete lack of output from the DB community over recent years as anything.  It's quite disappointing TBH.

I think you're selling yourself a bit short there Fog.

Duo is a great game.   Cheesy

Excellent game idea and well executed.

The fact that someonen is prepared to copy it bares this out.

It's a pity i could never finish it though.

Thanks.  Don't get me wrong, I love DUO.  It was the first proper game I did and I'm still pleased with it ever tie I fire it up (unlike mono which is always a let down).

I'm just disappointed that a large community like Apollo have created so little in the last 3 or 4 years.  With the likes of Banshee and the other oldies also moving on, there dosen't seem to be any younger coders or teams coming through.
