Those clouds are wild. I got some amazing footage in slow motion (120fps) of a pan around the beach at sunset. The tiny exposure time and low resolution created a beautiful image; I'll use it in a filmclip when my cassette drops later this year.

Image doesn't show for me on the forum.  Looks great though.  Very other-worldly.

What's this cassette thing?

At the World Skiing Championships someone was playing the C64 version of the brilliant Winter Games on the big screen  Grin

Wasted on a lot of the audience I bet as they were born after it was released.  I feel old.  Tongue

Were you aware of this mate?  Some lovely tunes on there so it would have been a great event.

Yeah! I've been twice, and I played their open mic last year, and one of their smaller shows last November too. This year nobody I was super into was on the lineup so I didn't feel like flying over for it.

The community is pretty strong and puts on a great event. That said, like every live music endeavour I've been involved with, I never really felt like I fit in, so unless I'm playing or there's someone I wanna really catch (Chipzel was amazing live) I don't get out to much.

If I do go again I really need to check out the workshops as well as the live music.

I keep forgetting Australia is a bloody huge place and you can't just pop on a train and be anywhere in 3 hours like we can  Smiley

Yeah, haha. I lived in Melbourne last year which made it easier to go. Spent buckets of cash flying back and forth to see the girlfriend, though. Worth every penny but.  Grin
