I was tempted to put this in the Graphics We Like thread too as it looks lovely.  Innovation is more important though  Smiley

I like the idea.

A sort of platform / arena shmup.

Thats a clever mix.

Introducing Metrico.  A platform puzzle game where the levels are Powerpoint style infographics.

Hmm.  Video doesn't look that great.  I hope I'm wrong as I like the concept.  Proof that all all innovation isn't necessarily a good thing?

Been playing Blendoku on iOS and aside from being a really nice game, it's use of colour is something I haven't seen before.  Obviously loads of games use colour, but I can't remember seeing any where such subtle colour differences are integral to the gameplay. (it's such a simple idea I wouldn't be surprised if it hasn't been done before, I just haven't seen it)

Nice idea.   Smiley

Looks like it has the same level of addictiveness that Bejewled had for me.

I can see myself wasting countless hours on that.

I wonder what percentage of the population is color blind though.   Roll Eyes

Yeah I'm a sucker for a good match-3 game myself too.

I wonder what percentage of the population is color blind though.   Roll Eyes

Some of the colours are so similar that even if you aren't colour blind it's a real challenge.  Seriously at times there must only be +-1 difference in the RGB value.

There's something strangely compelling about staring and two almost identical tiles and working green tiles and trying to work out which has slightly more red in it.  Tongue

It has a beautiful simplicity about it too.
