Whoa very cool mate. That's a great advert as well I must say. Loved the audio and visual mixing. Any more fan films in the pipeline since the Black Ops one? How is the horror film project coming along?

Thanks Yeah, there are a couple other projects in the works at the moment. Working on another one for The Duo Group (the guys that made the Black Ops fan film etc). Not sure which horror film you are referring to though?

Excellent. I've seen them posted on several news sites so it must get you a lot of good exposure. Not sure which horror film you are referring to though?
I had a vague recollection that you were doing one but couldn't remember where I saw that. Looks like this is what I was thinking of... http://hybridtwo.com/site/?p=20

Ah righty BTW that Moog library that Dan mentions in the last blog post is really cool too. Being an old git and fan of 80's synthpop I love Moog stuff.

Wow that was quick. You guys have been busy. I'm no Halo fan so no idea what's going on lol, the production values are typically superb though. Any plans to do any longer features or film shorts?

Yeah I know that's the point and it means you've done a great job

Top job How do you make your samples then? Are they recordings from the real world or are they created electronically?

It's a combination of both, really. We sample a lot of real world sounds and then process the crap out of them. I've recorded a lot of things for the library, including bycicle spokes bowed with a violin bow, gas tanks, broken glass and a lot of other random objects being used in ways they weren't intended ...Other sounds are made electronically with synthesizers and then resampled and processed.
