My favorite line was something like "I'm cold.  Mao is cold"  Grin

Hahaha, thanks mate! Was really happy with how it came together in the end. Smiley

Definitely pushed the limits with a few of the things we said in Tiananmen Square (particularly off camera) but made it out unscathed  Grin

Yeah really enjoyed it.  Great production, very entertaining and of course cracking music Smiley

I'd love to go to the Great Wall.  I live next to a Roman wall called Hadrian's Wall , but it's nothing like the scale or condition of that... although to be fair it is over a thousand years older.

Got any other trips planned?

Ah yes, have heard of Hadrian's Wall. Incidentally, and I guess as mentioned in the video, I was surprised to learn that the "Great Wall" isn't really one big wall, it's a buncha walls, which were all built at different times and kinda linked up and then became known as a single "Great Wall".

Nothing really on the horizon, considering an Australian roadtrip for a few days, but nothing major. Would be cool to do something Chinatrip esque again, but I very much feel that a lot of luck came our way in terms of getting the right group in the right mood. Come what may!

Your video caused me to have a look at Wikipedia and I hadn't realised they were built over such a long period of time.  I assume the bit you filmed on was one of the newer sections?

Yes, Mutianyu. Some of it had restoration work done as recently as like, the 50s I think? Wild.
