Time for us to do a bit of self promotion.  Smiley

After much hard work by the Binary Zoo team and the good people of Magmic, the Blackberry version  and the Java Mobile version of DUOtris are now available.  Both versions including a bunch of specially designed levels in the new fiendishly tricky puzzle mode.

Thanks to everyone in the old RGT/LLRGT/MN communities who gave me such great feedback during the development of the PC version, without which this wouldn't have happened.

And finally, as my own personal input on the mobile versions was limited to a little bit of design input and playtesting, I'd like to thank the rest of the team and in particular SiN for a faithful (and dare I say damn good fun) mobile version of my PC baby.  Smiley

Seriously Chris, this is definitely front page news, get on it!  Cool

Congrats to the team (especially SiN, who definitely put in the most work on this version), it was fun working on Duotris Mobile, and I'm ecstatic that we've finally got a commercial product out there. Awesome.

Thanks guys. Smiley

It's really nice to see DUOtris finally out there. While the PC version was definitely fogs baby, the mobile version was mine. Smiley I put tonnes of work into making sure the game played *just right*. I really wanted to make a mobile game that felt complete, so I slaved over implementing all the features that are in the PC version, and pushed for a couple more. Fog and Mike play-tested it and gave me lots of great feedback. And while I was busy making sure it played right, las6 made it *feel* right, by making some lovely graphics. Then Aaron added the cherry on top by making the *perfect* MIDI version of the DUOtris theme song. And after months of tweaking, and polishing, it's finally released.

It was truly a team effort, and one that I'm very proud to have been a part of. And now that it's done, I can't wait to see what the rest of the world thinks!

Hey great work guys, it's a shame it doesn't work with my MOB, Sony K800i otherwise I would have bought it. It's good to see Binary Zoo come so far and hopefully you'll go even further in the years to come. Smiley

Any chance it'll ever work with the K800i? Roll Eyes

It worked on my old Sony Ericson 750i which is similar to the 800i.. so it should.

Hey Joshi.  Hope all is well.

Yeah like Mike says it works fine on my K750i so I'm surprised.  I'll try and remember to ask Magic (publishers and handled handset porting) about it the next time I speak to them.

I just got a new cellphone, and was eager to download DUOtris, since I've always had old phones without the ability to play those fancy java games, before I brought this one.
Appearently, the mobile I brought seem to be kinda new, and isn't listed in the device list at the page. So I randomly tried different phones that looked new, but it just keep saying that the current game isn't available to my device.. :\
For the record, the cellphone I'm talking about is the "Nokia 7500 Prism".

And by the way, is/was DUOtris supposed to be free (iand therefore the staff discount joke)? 'Cause it doesn't seem to be free now. (But still cheap, so I'll buy it anyways Cheesy )

Edit: And before you reply, thanks in advance for the welcoming.
