Haven't had the chance to do any coding this week.  Should be back at it next week.

Then I'm going to be spending a few days putting 1982 on Steam.  Given the hundreds of thousands of downloads Echoes+ got through Steam it seems like the sensible thing to do.

Whoa - getting a Steam release! That's wild.  Smiley
It's a lot easier for Indies to get on Steam now than it was when I finished 1982.  Pretty much everything submitted seems to get on eventually, you just have to be patient.

I'm doing this with TGC though as I did with Echoes+, so they get a bit of (hopefully) good promotion for AGK and I don't have to wait for the Greenlight process to do it's thing.

It'll still be a free  man

Think I've done the necessaries to get 1982 Steam ready.  Just need the AGK banner/advert and I'm good to go, providing I can remember how to do the horribly Steam admin stuff.

(Hopefully the Steam stuff is easier under the "Greenlight" replacement)

Still waiting for a banner image from TGC so I can stick 1982 on Steam.

Meanwhile started some prep for my Unity project and ventured into 3D

Still not sure what project I'll do mind. I'm just going to start throwing stuff at the screen and see what happens.

Probably start with something simple and then build on my game engine as I do morecomplexedd games.

Can't wait to get started on an all new game now....I'll try not to write Echoes again  Tongue

Actually very tempted to have a go at mono VR.....but only have PSVR, no Oculus or Vive, and can't develop for that without a dev kit.

Don't know how long the submission/approval process will take mind, what with the Steam Summer Sale being in full swing.

Now onto that new 3D game thingy....

1982 is now available free on Steam

For those that haven't played it it's a rogue-like tractor driving simulator, featuring a JRPG style battle system, with a deep plot and memorable characters. man
