The slider in the options for setting the music volume does nothing here. Works fine in all other of my games though. Sigmatel Onboard Audio, Win2003 with latest patches, latest drivers, DX9c from 2007, etc. etc. - music also sounds as if its heavily clipped, though, that may be by design... without being able to lower its volume, i cannot know Smiley

P.S.: Oh, i forgot...... i'm talking about "Echoes" Smiley

I just loaded the music into another player. It does indeed heavily clip in the game - those distortions are only ingame. Though, that is quite strange, because it would mean, that besides of the non-working slider, the music is amplified above 100%.

Yeah there's another thread where someone reported the clipping issue.  There probably isn't a problem with the volume controls.  If the clipping problem is fixed I'd guess the volume controls will work fine as nobody else has had the same problem.

Strange news: the bgm volume slider WORKS, if i use my own music, but does not work, if i use the bundled music.

I am going to re-encode the music today to see if that helps. Someone else has mentioned problems that only happen with our tracks, which is very odd indeed.
