has any one else played this game. it is a semi puzzle/ real time strategy game where you build a maze made of attack tower to stop the enemy forces from getting to the other side of the arena. http://www.handdrawngames.com/DesktopTD/game.asp

just a small warning this game can be very addicting.

Yeah there are loads of Tower Defence games around.  Desktop TD was my favourite until Vector TD came along

Apparently Desktop TD gets so many hits, it generates a 6 figure sum from Google Ads.

Amazing for something so simple.  The internet is truly a starnge and wonderful place  Smiley

There's what you need to do fog.

An easy to learn flash game with a steep difficulty curve and google ads on the side. Hey, at the least it'd get you a better comp., right?

If I wrote something like that which did make money then cool, but I couldn't set out to write something like that as I know I wouldn't enjoy doing it.  With all the visits we get to our download pages I guess we could make a reasonable bit of cash from Google Ads but, unless it was a silly amount of money, I'd rather keep our pages ad free Smiley

If it was a dollar per link per view I think a few more people would be using Google Ads Wink

the amount of which you get per view is very very little. In some cases, none. But it does depend on your traffic volume and things like view-to-click and click-to-buy ratios. Meaning that a page that generates gazillion ad views but no clicks is going to get less money per view than a site that generates slightly less views but more clicks.
