runtime error 1511

when i try to start the game a error window pops up sating
runtime error 1511-display cannot be created due to invalid function parameters at line 0

and I've played it a few times before this   
i love this game  helps me please

You don't say which game you are talking about so just some general comments....

Well if it's worked ok previously something has obviously changed.  Firstly I'd suggest downloading the game again so we can rule out any of those files becomming corrupt.

If that doesn't solve the problem then something on your PC must have changed recently.  Have you installed any Windows or driver updates?

actually it happens to all of the games, ive reinstalled multiple times and i have installed any windows drivers and such

fog, be kind and give him the source code to compile

I once had problems with ABA games that started in a black screen and returned on the desktop after a few seconds. I finally run them configuring properly openGL. I suppose that BZ games use Direct Draw, so you should check your video card settings first.

Games in general work better with vista. You'd know this if you actually used the os instead of reading too much into rumours and trash talking.

that said, if you have a nVidia card, try uninstalling nvidia graphics card driver and rolling back to the previous one. (aka the microsoft supplied one)
