For anyone that doesn't read the news page....

Another quick update this time to mono.

I have made a number of minor changes but the only one anyone will really be interested is the addition of joypad support. Yay. mono is now officially "just another twin stick shooter" Smiley

Also included is a joypad configuration application so if you initially have problems select "configure joypad" from the main menu and follow the simple on screen instructions.

makes me happy all the time
but this means your not working on tension:o :p

some old news (half a year ago)
maybe a bug, but when i played mono on my 16mb onboard Intel videocard, the background looked normal (but the game was slooooooow)
but when i played it with my new 128mb ATI radeon 9250 AGP videocard, the background looked blocky, you can see trails of the bullets and enemys and explosions, and it doesnt seem so gradient-ish anymore, the screenshot will tell you more
what you see are no image-compression faults, it's mostly noticeble in the blue spot, and when the screen starts wobbling cause i suck, it gets much worse (very much)

Weird.  The trails look right but the blue circle in the middle looks wrong.  It should be quite a bit smoother than that and not "stepped".

The colour of the coloured blobs is based on a simple distance calc and it looks like it's rounding off the answer (integer style) instead of using a float.  i wonder if that's why someone once said the collisions looked off?  If it's rounding the distance calc results that would explain it.

Sadly it's something I can't test though so unless I have a flash of inspiration I can't see a fix anytime soon.
