I couldn't help myself.
Ufology is something of an obsession with me.
I find that most people who argue against the existance of ET are still thinking pretty much inside the goldfish bowl of the human experience. From the human perspective. How could aliens get here from there, because it takes thousands of years to travel the distance from the nearest stars. But they're usualy thinking in terms of current human technology and not broadening their scope outside the box.
If anyone has looked, even at the most trivial aspects of quatumn theory, they'll see, that reality is nothing like we persieve from our newtonian point of view. Non duality, maybe states, observation affecting results ect all show the sub atomic world is much much stranger than we realise. And quantum theory is probably the most stable of theories there is. Being fantastically accurate by those that study it.
Is time travel possible.
Most people respond quickly with, "of course not". But that shows a level of ignorance of einsteins laws of relativity.
Time dialation is real, has been predicted by einstein and has been proven many times over. In fact, einstein called space and time one entity space/time.
Gravity, the force created / shown is a result of mass bending and warping space which also has a knock on effect of bending time.
The faster you travel, the slower time passes for yourself to an outside observer.
Thus a person leaving earth on a spaceship, travelling at near the speed of light for x amount of days, and then returning to earth will have noted he has been gone for say, 30 days, real time, ( which has all passed normally for him ), but on earth, thousands of years may have passed by.
This has been proven time and again through experiment. The most famous of which were the atomic clock tests. The most acurate clocks for their time. Two clocks, in sync, one stationary, the other flown around the world, and after the trip, when the two were compared, a disprepency was found bewteen the two. Where theyre shouldnt have been any.
The point being, that the arguments i see put forward by most people are to my eyes, largely due to ignorance.
I wonder if anyone here has heard of Walter Hout. He was the press officer at Roswell, at the time of the incident and he was told by his commanding officer to the brief the press about a crashed saucer, which he duly did. Later of course he had to retract that when the other story was put forward to cover up the incident.
Well, now the guy has died, and a couple of years before he died, he put together a whitnessed sworn afidavit, that he not only saw debri from a crashed disc, but also saw alien bodies.
Anyone heard of Colonel, Philip J Corso. This is a man, again now dead, who headed up the foreign technology devision for the military, i forget which service, and he was delegated the job of disseminating back engineered alien technology into civilian industry. He wrote a book about it called "the day after roswell". And has caused alot of controversy in the ufology field.
Anyone heard of Dr Steven Greer. He heads up the Disclosure project. This man has gathered together many many high ranking military officials, who swear that they have had contact with aliens, and thier technology to some degree. Google video has some of the press conferences.
Testimony from credible whitnesses is used as a means of gathering evidence to lead to prosecutions in most courts in most countries.
But it's interesting to note that mankind has gone from the horse and cart to landing on the moon in less than a hundred years, 1868 - 1968. After hundreds of thousands of years of human evolution we have gone from a primitive medieval civilisation to an advanced technology based one in one persons lifetime.
Just think about that. ?
There is plenty of evidence available for anyone willing to research the field. Of course we are all at liberty to believe what we want, i just think it's wise to get a bit more informed on the subject.
Not meant as a flame, if anyone was wandering.
